Inclusive Action does policy and research rooted in the experiences of populations we serve. Our policy advocacy and research is informed by our programs and vice versa.

Economic Development

Our economic development programs leverage the multi-disciplinary perspective of Inclusive Action to address one of the roots causes of poverty in urban areas — access to capital. For the team at Inclusive Action, capital in the form of financing, physical infrastructure and education are important resources to build wealth, invest in low-income communities, and build sustainable community-based economies.

$700,000

To date, we’ve deployed over $700,000 in capital to low-income food entrepreneurs and home based businesses, many of whom are street vendors.

$1,000,000

In 2020, we distributed over $1,000,000 in cash assistance and grant support to entrepreneurs and their families, many who didn’t receive other government aid.

300

In 2020, we worked with over 300 organizations in coalitions to support low-income Angelenos. We advocated for street vendors, workers, tenants and more. solutions to the problems we see in our cities.

Donate

We work hard to make sure that our initiatives truly impact our communities and the flexibility to design solutions that can make our cities better places to live. BUT, we can’t do that without everyone’s help.
