Policy & Research
We engage in policy efforts that address root causes of inequity in four “Areas of Impact:” Access to Capital, Land-Use, Housing & Ownership, and Leadership Development.
Access to Capital
Our access to capital programming provides capital and business coaching to help low-income, BIPOC entrepreneurs build their businesses and their generational wealth.

We deployed over $700,000 in capital to low-income food entrepreneurs and home based businesses, many of whom are street vendors.
$1,000,000
In 2020, we distributed over $1,000,000 in cash assistance and grant dollars to street vendors and small businesses impacted by COVID-19.
